Our Process

At Journey Medical, our goal is to help all of our patients manage their opioid dependence. We offer Suboxone MAT Prescriptive Therapy and counseling in order to do this. When you first call, we’ll ask if you’ve ever done a similar program. If not, we’ll explain what Suboxone is and what benefits and risks are involved in taking it. Then, we’ll explain more about ourselves and who we are: we are an outpatient program, which involves speaking to both a doctor and a counselor, with the ability to make more appointments with a counselor as needed.

Should you decide to move forward with our program, we’ll schedule the first appointment. At this appointment, you’ll fill out some paperwork, take a drug test, submit payment, and meet with a doctor and a counselor. Once everything is prepared, we’ll schedule follow-up appointments in order to keep track of your process. The process from there varies depending on the patient. That’s because we understand that different individuals may be at different stages of recovery, and so may require different needs. We’ll take the time to tailor our program to your needs and work with your personally to give you the best service possible.
